Language Arts
Grammar Lesson will focus on using an apostrophe to form contractions.
Spelling New spelling words went home on Monday. Please keep them in the Ziploc bag and in a safe place so they can be used next week.
Math This week we continued to focus on subtracting two-digit numbers. We used subtraction frames, paper and pencil, and a number line to subtract two-digit numbers. Next week we will use addition to check subtraction, use different methods to subtract two-digit problems, and solve two-question story problems. An assessment will be given at the end of the week.
Math Facts Math facts should be reviewed daily. The Math flash cards that you purchased should be used to practice math facts as well as the one minute math practice worksheets that are brought home. Weekly timed tests are given.
