ELA We are reading The One and Only Ivan, in class. We will continue completing activities throughout the coming weeks that go along with this book. Book reports are due on Thursday. Our languages lessons will focus on pronouns and antecedents.
Spelling Students should be sorting their words every night. They are to complete 6 activities at the end of the 2 week period. Please make sure you initial the box on the menu that the work has been completed. Homework will be due on the test day, Thursday, March 24.
Math Next week student will be investigating perimeter and area. There will be a X7 multiplication test on Thursday.
Social Studies We will continue our study on Chicago. Our next focus will be on The Chicago Fire. We will also design a brochure about Chicago.

March Dates To Remember
Monday 3/21: Spring Training Day - Cubs vs Sox - support your favorite team and wear something Cubs or Sox.
Tuesday 3/22: Hat & Shades Day - wear your favorite hat and sunglasses to school.
Wednesday 3/23: Think Spring Day - wear spring colors.
Thursday 3/24: Comfy Clothes Day - wear your most comfortable clothes to school - including pajama pants if you wish.
