Ms. Zurales' Class News
ELA We will continue our Culture and Traditions Unit. Students are typing the chapters of their expository writing about the country their ancestors came from. The final copy is due on Friday. They will be given about 20 minutes per day, 3 days next week, to complete them. They should be working on them at home if they find they are not going to be done by Friday. Please have them refer to the expository checklist. Each paragraph should have a hook, which is a question sentence, 5 sentences with the facts, an ending or closing sentence and transitions (next, then, now) between paragraphs.
